How You Can Help

You read or hear about it daily in the news. County funds are limited and have to be spread across many county-wide needs. These limited public funds only go so far within the Sheriff's Office and it makes it very challenging to excel in our mission of service to the public.

Your tax-deductible donations are crucial in helping us provide the highest level of service to our community. Donated funds are commonly used for the purchase of equipment, college scholarships to Sheriff's Office employees and their children, renovation and remodeling of facilities, software and technology and specialized training to name a few.

Of course, you may specify how your donation is to be used. Ideas include bullet proof vests, Tasers, scholarships, technology or software or community outreach and education programs. As long as the designation is not in conflict with the Foundation's charter and objectives, you may specify how the funds are to be used.

Alternatively, donations may be made for the general use and benefit of the Sheriff's Office as determined by the Foundation's Board of Directors.
